98 1500 stalling out

I have a 98 1500 Laramie with 180,000 miles on it that stalls out when you lift your foot off the gas BUT only when it is cold out. Otherwise the truck runs well. Why would it only stall in the cold? Been chasing this problem forever!

How long do you wait to drive it after you start it?

Doesn't really matter how long I drive it. Sometimes it happens right away and other times it happens after it is warmed up. Stop at a traffic light and boom shuts down. Stop at a stop sign and boom it shuts down.
