anyone knows if can i switch from automatic climate control to manual climate control in my ram 1500 2015 big horn

i had a 2009 & now i have a 2016 Ram & this is the 2nd or 3rd time someone has mentioned automatic climate control in the last couple weeks

mine is similar to this, except i don't have 4 wheel drive

I would say yes as people switch from MTC to ATC all the time I wouldn’t see why you couldn’t go the other way. Now one thing to keep in mind going that route you need to change your bezel and the 8.4 inch doesn’t fit properly in that bezel it’s designed for the 5 inch so you would probably want to get the custom one with volume button if you plan to keep the 8.4 inch.

Also the photo GTyankee posted is actually manual temp control.
The one athlium posted is dual zone ATC.

taking a guess here, you will need at a minimum.... The Bezel, the AC controls, the HVAC module - and a harness to make it all work to bypass your current AC module

So you're saying you want to turn a knob rather then push button's? The automatic part just keeps your interior whatever degree you set. You don't have to use the automatic part of temp control with your current system.

I ran into this issue when I upgraded as well.

my Hvac controls/bezel is rounded on the corners. so while it works with 8.4, there is some tapered so you won't see a fraction of an inch. your alternative for volume control would be steering wheel controls or you would need to have a half hacked one like the one from previous post.
