Interesting. They look good. They wouldnt last long here in NJ with all the salt we use. But more interesting is that the Carven muffler isn't 304SS? Honestly dont know why anyone builds in 409SS... its like not even worth it. I swear they do it just to say its SS but its really not.

If the Carven is 304 they have me fooled. I think it's 409 but then again it's been on the truck over a year and I was living in Washington state

Na man, if it was 304 it would look like it did when u got it. Has to be 409.

my Carven competitor came ceramic coated... I didn't buy it new but it still looks new

i recently wrapped mine to keep the valve train noise down and it took away 98% of the noise. now its nice and quiet.

from my note 8

Did u wrap them while they were installed of before u put them on . I have noticed valve train noise is more noticeable since headers but I'm learning to deal

Not I. I read this and a few other articles and opted for ceramic coating instead.

? This must be some extreme racing applications with hours upon hours of straight abuse. I've had headers on every car I've owned and wrapped every one... Never had to replace a header.

You usually do this b4 install... Can't imagine what a complete pita that would be after install
