So for anyone that took the pillars off.... the piece on the rear doors (of the crew cab) have little clips on the tabs... everytime I pull one out the clips fall INTO the door. Anyone know what the part number is for the clips, or the trim piece itself?

Actually... if you wanna sell all the tan parts.. let me know. Id rather paint them all off the truck and swap em all at once.

resurrecting-- @daveray9 .... how did the painting go? I'm contemplating this route rather than $1k at least to swap my tan parts for black.

That's what I'm afraid of- the spots that get used lots, like hand grabs, won't keep the color and then it will look like crap. I guess I could buy those pieces and paint the parts that aren't touched much.

at one point I thought this was a fairly cheap endeavor but adding things up this turns into a $1k project. That's not cheap in my book

Not sure if it'll work or not. I've used Rit dye on my AR15 magazines. It might be worth trying on the plastic interior parts.

White magazine is the before, red and green is after Rit dye.

Let me know how you make out. I actually bought someones used tan pillars A B and C, mirrors too and seatbelt clips. Was going to paint them. The flex paint I used didn't hold up, and when trying to reinstall them it was destroyed shortly after.

I wasn't doing my interior. I was just making a suggestion.

I used flat black duplicolor vinyl&fabric rattle can, did pillars, headliner, visors etc. Just pulled everything out and went to town. Mine's a reg cab tho which made it much easier.
Only thing I should have done better is prep on the grab handles, it looks a little blotchy so I should have cleaned then better first.
All in all it looks a million times better, like it should be from the factory!20200616_123503.jpg
