Almost done with my blackout

Got my black smoked LED tails and black LED third brake light on. All that's left now are the black exhaust tips and wheels. Coming soon. I'll get some better pics tomorrow but pretty pleased with how it's looking.

They're still pretty bright with the LEDs. I've not had them long so we shall see.

I originally ordered the Flowmaster 4" tips but they came in dented. After a drawn out load of BS from the eBay retailer they are refunding my money and I've got the new slash cut black Carven tips headed to me.

Those are dark as **** lol

I'll get some better pics tomorrow as the sun was on it's way down so they look a bit darker than they actually are. They are pretty dark though. More than I expected.

Are just swapping out the exhaust tips for black ones?

I sanded my stock ones and spray painted with semi-gloss black high heat engine paint. I also used a primer. Came out really good and didn't spend a whole lot...

I had a Flowmaster 50HD welded in place of the stock muffler a couple weeks ago. Now I'm swapping over to the black tips.

Looks good! Although I must say I really like the look of the white emblems on a white truck! Yours look awesome tho! Bout to start blacking out my emblems and exhaust tips soon can't decide if I should just plasti dip first and see how I like or go right to painting them.

I think they would be a problem here in Texas. They get kinda picky about tinted tails.

There are quite a few tinted tails running around here. I haven't got any grief on them yet. Time will tell.
