TNram, I had the same problem this weekend with the shop telling me they couldn’t take that collar off. Just go to a different shop or Pep Boys and they’ll knock it right off no problem....

Yes sir, I took the struts to Pep Boys to have them swap the Bilstens in, but the first pep boys screwed it up and not only left the old spacers in, after they pulled them out and I got them home I found out they moved the right height rings down to the lowest level. So the moral of the story is wherever you take them to get them done if you do that, inspect them really well before you pay!

rub at full lock? I think I have a little of that, too, but I'm at 2.8
Yeah I get a little rub at full lock, but even when the wheels are straight and centered there is only about a credit card thickness of clearance between the tire and the UCA at the ball joint.

What brand 1/4 inch spacers do folks run? I know of BORA spacers but they don't seem to make 1/4 inch ones.

I thought I had found 1/4 & 3/8 inch Bora concentric spacers, but that might have been for a car application, now that I look at their site again.

Outdoors76, I had a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit from rough country installed over a year ago and those spacers have to be removed when you install the Bilstein adjustables.

I picked up one from a member here who had a spare. Will be ordering the 2nd from Amazon when I'm ready to do the work and have it aligned. Thinking I might be doing spark plugs and then trans fluid/filter/pan change first.
