Thought it was my CAI tube squeaking but I just bolted it in again and its not it. It sounds like its coming from the front passenger side and it squeaks on every bump and is embarrassing. I don't think its any of the suspension and I cannot find what it is but its metal on metal squeak.... any ideas?

Is it a squeak you can get by bouncing the truck yourself?

I would think if it was suspension you could get the sound from bouncing it. But I don't know much about that. Does it only happen over larger bumps/something that'll put more downward force on the engine bay area?

Its like on these bumpy roads in midlothian, there are bumps everywhere on these side roads, its like when the right side goes over small bumps and stuff, its hard to explain i guess. I guess it'll just have to squeak lol i have no clue what it is

When I had my squeak, I couldn't get it to replicate when moving the truck, but it did end up being the suspension and I had the struts replaced.

I thought it did. It was high pitched and really loud and would squeak at the slightest bump.

Just to clarify 06 - current 4x4s have struts.

W/o hearing it myself, and you saying front end, my first thought is sway bar bushings. Easy to find out, its only 2 nuts and you can disconnect the sway bar, go for a short drive, see if it sqeaks.

If all else fails, grab some wd40 and hit every pivot point you see!

Man it is gettin worse, I just went out and looked, the sway bar bushings on the outer ends are starting to look dried out, I sprayed WD-40 on em, and gonna go try it out in a lil bit when I can get away from work... But I'm thinkin I might have to replace those bushings to fix it totally

wow she works a long time..........................................................................................................................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....................................................nothing yet? I would not hit everything with the wd 40. btw. just a section at a time. Ie; upper control arm bushings, check squeak, then the lower arms, check squeak. and so on till you hit the spot. otherwise you'll stop the squeak but wont know where it was from. wd-40 works, but not a long term fix by no means!
