Ditching my clutch fan and installing a 180 thermostat today. Matt from moes told me my factory ac fan will be just fine because I do not tow anything. I adjusted the ac fan temps with my diablosport down to 190. There was not an option for on/off temps. Just temp settings for ac on, ac off which I set to 190. Tested yesterday in my driveway, ac fan kicked on at 188-190 degrees.

Pay attention to the fan,at 190 you might be on the low side.If the fan is running when you come off the highway, you might want to raise the temp to 195. Most tuners are setting the fan to come on at about 195/196

Just finished up. Easy job. I’m going to take your advice and change the temp to 195. Thanks man. You’ve been a big help.

So I pulled it out of the garage, adjusted fan temps to 196. Let it run. Fan came on at 195ish and turned off at 185. :dogpile:

I left my shroud on, had to restore factory tune & reinstall clutch fan today for recall.
Also had to program BCM for 4.56 axle from 3.55, 1st to 2nd gear did not have a consistent rpm gear change @ WOT.
Varied from 4500 to 6000, was tuned for 6000.

Have you noticed any change in performance? I'm considering doing this myself.

It’s so hot outside today. It’s kinda hard to tell. Plus I did my TB at the same time.
