My 2012 RAM 1500 Sport with 22000 miles leans to the left, considerably as I would say. About 1.5 inches gestimating. I havent measured. This really bothers me. Take a look.

That's a lot more than mine was, even with a full tank of fuel. I had a difference of 1/2" at the worst. I would definitely say something is wrong there. Is it the same front/back? Definitely need to measure the difference on level ground.

It is actually pretty common on Ram (Dodge) trucks. Google 'dodge lean'. People say it is from having the battery and gas tank on the same side. My truck had it too. Pretty much went away when I went to Moab and flexed it out quite a bit.

So you think flexing it out would help? I havent even been off road to speak of in this truck, which is very uncommon for me.

I'd take it to the dealer. That doesn't look normal to me.

Gasoline weighs 8.3lbs per gallon. 8.3lbs x 26gals is 215lbs of extra weight on the drivers side. Its normal.

Actually that is the weight of water per gallon. Gas is less dense than water hence the reason it floats on water with the assistace of surface tension. Gas weighs 6.073lbs per gallon making 26gal weigh almost 159lbs. I dont think its normal. Not to mention I only have a half a tank of gas and there was nothing extra in the truck.

I have heard of it and experienced it. Mine had a slight lean before I did the 2/4. Drove me nuts. I must say though, that is the worst I've seen.

I guess SOMBODY has to have the worst lean. Lucky you.

Seriously though, I would be taking that to a dealer. That is excessive. They can explain a mild lean but you shouldn't have to deal with that. Sorry you're having to deal with it.
