Its time for new tires for my Ram 1500. I was driving on some icy roads the other day going straight and not accelerating and literally started sliding and fishtailing 3 or 4 times when other cars were flying by me. I have never ever experienced something like that before.

Ive tried to read reviews of these XT tires on here but most were of people buying them but no long term reviews. I know these are newer and even online its hard to find reviews. so if you have these what do you think? I do all highway driving 50-60 miles one way 3-4 times a week.

I have them on my truck. There are not great on the ice. If that's your concern, but still want aggressive tires then I'd recommend Duratracs or Exo Grapplers. The XTs work better on ice than generic all season or all terrain tires. They're pretty good in deep snow. Not loud on the highway. I drive mine 50 miles on the interstate every day. Can't say much about wear since they've only been on a few thousand miles.

Theres one guy on here that has had the tires for a little bit, and his review:

Also, I was on the fence about buying these as well. Until I watched these two videos. The first one is actually about the M/T's but I think it still applies. The second is about the XT's and other comparable tires. I think I'm going to spend a little extra and go with the new Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I had a set. Hated them. Balance issues. One minute running 70 they'd be smooth. Next minute feel like all out of balance. Not to mention heavy as lead. I replaced a set of 33x12.50/20 trail blade xt with 275/65/20 bfg ko2. Just the trail blade xt tire was nearly as heavy as the bfg with rim mounted. They're also loud as a MT tire. Overall they suck.

Strange, I have had no issues with vibration at all up to 90 mph. The 275/65R20 XTs weigh within a pound of the KO2s.

I have a set of 35x12.5x20 on my truck and love them. Not very loud driving on pavement. I read a bunch of reviews before making my purchase. People are getting 60-70k miles out of a set. I have over 10k on mine and they still look brand new.

Wonder why they didn't review the duratrac in that video? It's kind of the original hybrid tire

Those videos were legit. I was going to order through custom wheel offset too.... I may spend the extra money and get the Nitto Ridge

Going from stock to 275/65R20s with Bilsteins I've lost 1mpg overall. I also put them on in the winter so that's a factor too.
