if you have your measurement front and back from axle to bottom of fender in front and back please and then if you have after your lift can you post those please? And what kind of lift you put on, springs spacers or what? I am trying to figure out if I can use lifted 4wd 1500 springs on my 2500 to improve the ride. You can see my truck is a bit tall in the back already.

Rear: 24"

The 2500 weighs too much for the 1500 springs. They'll compress way too much and you won't get a better ride. You want better that works go kelderman air suspension.

thanks for the reply, im not real keen on air suspension. So, back to the springs the truck itself I would think weighs about the same, the running gear or unsprung weight being the main difference so then its up to the spring to control the unsprung weight along with the shocks. Anyhow its a two wheel drive so my thinking is that the 4wd springs would be stiffer and longer, and that could make the difference. If it bottoms I could control that with shocks and bumpstops

can anyone share their before and after lifted heights and what spring setup they have? Anyone have what they think are stiffer springs than stock on? What make are they? My fronts are coils and not coilovers just FYI.

Fair enough. Maybe look into thuren soft ride coil springs. Perhaps some members here have run them. Looks like they're designed to do what you want.

Thuren unfortunately does not have 2wd springs and their 4wd are going to be too tall-for the 2500 . I want some 1500 springs and all they have are the front coilovers which wont work. I need 1500 4wd springs

Kelderman also came back and stated that their front kit is 1.5 inches taller than stock 4x4 2500 height which will of course be too tall. Thats why I am back to stock 4wd suspension. can anyone share their ride height?
