Alright guys, got the wife a '23 1500 Bighorn, CC 4x4. Looking at leveling or possibly lifting it, but before we do, does anyone have some before/after pics they'd be willing to share? Of either a level or a lift. If we go with a lift it wouldn't be much, I'm just starting down this road so I don't even know what lifts are available for a grocery-getter.

Just to be clear, by LEVEL I mean raising the front, on her old Ford it was 2" spacers. I don't want to drop the rear of the truck. I need her to get through snow not drag the tail.

I'm fresh off completing the Revel Performance leveling kit on my 2020 1500 Ram and with all first time projects I learned a lot, and thankfully, not at a high cost although it took me more time than expected, which isn't really a surprise. Not sure if the pictures really show the difference but I can tell you it was significant. The kit includes the 2" Daystar spacers that mount to the top of the air strut, and the adjustable front revel links. The spacers actually measure an inch and half by the way...
Now, the biggest impact was likely moving from the 285/45/22 BFG's to the 295/55/22 Toyo Open Country AT III's. Also important as referenced above that my truck has the air suspension on it as well so I can easily adjust the front links to alter the level of the front of the truck if I want to move it up or down some.
After install, all 5 air lift settings work as they should, only slight rubbing on the passenger side inner fender which I took care of by simply pulling it back a bit. The truck doesn't ride quite as good as before, but honestly, it road like a Cadillac before and not like a truck at all, so in my opinion it stills rides nicer than any truck I've ever had. This is the first set of Toyo's I've had and for as aggressive as they look I'm amazed at how quiet they are on the road.
First and last pictures are after the leveling kit and tires, middle picture is before. Actually, I also believe the first picture is in one of the off road air suspension modes as it's pretty tall there while the last picture is in the "Normal" mode.
Not sure if this helps but thought I would pass it along in case... IMG_9540.jpg IMG_9076.jpgIMG_9545.jpg

Don't have a before, but here's my after with the Bilstein 5100's installed using the stock front and rear springs and the fronts set at 2.1" raised running on LT285/65R20 BFG KO2's.

This was last summer, and am now running LT295/65R20 Michelin Defender LTX M/S.

It levels it out nicely, but still maintains a tad bit of rake as I sometimes tow and/or haul.

If you level make sure you do adjustable struts not spacers. These trucks dont deal well with spacers. For a lower cost but still quality level, Bilstein and Eibach are great choices. We have better options if you plan to off road or want a much more plush ride.

For a lift I would recommend Zone, they offer 4" and 6" kits that both will ride as good as stock if not better.

Message me for info and quotes. We offer just about everything like, exhausts, intakes, suspension, bed covers, side steps, bumpers, lighting, etc...

On a grocery getter it wouldn't make any difference, but on a truck that occasionally had a load in the bed or pulled a trailer wouldn't it upset the drivability if the truck were leveled, since it would be tail down? I've always thought a level truck looks better but seems like it would compromise the usefulness.

Pics are of my 2023 Laramie 1500 with the Icon Stage 2 kit. My last truck was a 2019 Big Horn with a 2" level and it drove horrible.

I went with this set up because I wanted the stance and to keep everything factory bolt on. No spacers, brackets, ect. This way I can have a nice look and go back to stock if/when needed.

It didn't really alter the driveability of her last truck (a Ford), in fact it actually helped with a 'wandering' issue we had on grooved expressways when empty.

It also didn't really affect her ability to tow, since I think the most she ever had behind it was a 6k lb pontoon boat to put it in the water...a quarter mile from our house. Otherwise it never saw more than 5k on the ball and...maybe a few 2x4's in the bed? Which is about all this truck is going to see as well.

There's a reason I've got a 2500...LOL.

So it's probably not a good idea to level a truck that will be a work truck, haul, or tow?
That would be my guess. But remember my question that got a bunch of people all spun up? The one about buying a truck, then not really using it as such. Apparently, there are a whole bunch of people who do that.

Put better tires on it. Leveling it doesn't make much differance in snow,as the diffs are still the lowest point of the truck

Go to website "customoffsets" and look at their gallery. Thousands of pics and you can add in your truck style, year, suspension etc.
