Rough country... They're all the same for these trucks. Pick the cheapest. Just be prepared to buy a new trac bar. For some reason these trucks are way more sensitive to lifting the nose 2.5". The front axle shifts a noticeable amount to the drivers side.

I agree. And they are all a little different. Just don't be shocked if you need an adjustable track bar.

If you want the best leveling kit spacers are not the option. The best will be Thuren or Carli progressive rate leveling coils, shocks tuned to the coils (however that's not really necessary), and an adjustable track bar.

^^ Second on Thuren even though I'm part of the 1/2 ton world and I have front coil overs instead of springs and shocks.

Yes This!!!!! Don's springs are top notch!!!!

To the OP what is the budget, decent or is it as cheap as possible?
There are many options for spacers, I had the RC 2" on my 07 and they were fine great product cheap and not alot lost when upgraded to progressive rate springs. If budget is a issue you can do as I did and get the cheap spacer, but get the carli adjustable track bar and sway bar endlinks and a inexpensive set of shocks.

I did it this way cause it was time to buy tires, wanted 35's but didn't have the $$ to do rims/ tires, track bar and springs/ shocks all at once...

If you have a healthy budget then you you can get the carli leveling kit for $825, but still recommend the adjustable trackbar and sway bar endlinks for any kit. note endlinks come with the Carli kit

this is going on a gas truck not a diesel so the springs are out of the question. i cant afford a fortune but i want it done right because this truck brand new and want it to last and give no problems later. but i did realize the concern with the track bar but wasnt sure if there was other spacers that worked better, build quality, etc. thanks everyone for the input much appreciated! fill my brain with knowledge! lol

What about it being a gas truck makes springs out of the question? There are companies that make trucks for a gas application VS a diesel. Not sure if Thuren has done that with the newer suspension yet but it's worth inquiring about.

As far as spacers go they're all very similar. Rough Country, Hell Bent Steel, Top Gun Customz, BDS... they all pretty much do the same thing. You won't really notice much of a difference between them.

Interesting, they both used to make sets for hemi's, I do know from talking with don about some custom lowering springs that they are focusing on the new susp design... may not have a product yet but working on it?

I installed hell bent spacer's and billstein shocks, it completely f 'd the handling of a brand new truck, bought a adj track bar from Carli Suspension, installed it, it helped but still, very spongy, bought a set of sway bar relocation bracket's from Carli Suspension and it helped, but the steering was not right, that was also the second trip to alignment shop, called Carli and they sold me some lower control arm drop bracket's, I installed, bingo, another trip to shop for alignment and the truck drives perfect

Installed the 2" HBS w/shock relocation brackets today on a 2016 2500. Everything went smooth, rides like stock. Could have went 2.5", but still satisfied.

How's the axle? still centered or do you need a adj. track bar?
