I appreciate any input you may have. I have a 2015 1500 Sport Crew Cab 2wd. I need new tires and figured this would be a good time to level the truck (front higher) and go bigger on tires to give it a bit more aggressive stance.

I have heard Spacers or Longer Springs. I read spacers put unnecessary stress on the upper ball joints.

What do you recommend and what tires would look right. 295/ 60/ 20 or 305/ 60 or 65 / 20?

I'm also open to doing the fender flares but would like to know what tire with or without.

Thank you!

Bilstein 5100 Struts. Nuff said. Look in the 'lifted' section. Just got mine done. As far as tires if youre looking at those sizes maybe look into 35 12.50 20 tires. All terrain look best imo. But with what you typed I would do 285/65/20 possibly. I am sure others will chime in. In 'exterior' you will find all the info on tires. And use the search, if all else fails start a thread. I had a pretty lengthy Bilstein thread that I probably could have avoided by just reading through all these other posts but I did not find the info I was looking for at the start. Levels/Lifts and Tires are dead horses on this thread as you will find out. But every now and again theres a new angle to a question and then a new wealth of info is created. Also, go introduce yourself in the proper section and post a pic of your truck! Welcome.

He's 2wd, no coil over struts on the front so bils are a no go.

YIKES ! Maybe I should have read more before I got the Rough Country level kit. I didn't know anything about ball joint stress. Now I gotta do some reading up...

Go with Maxtrac’s 2WD leveling kits. You won’t regret it. That’s what I have on mine and I’m also thinking about going with 35x12.5r20 Falken AT3W’s when my current tires go bald.

Rough country has a 3” kit that comes with upper control arms.

I really appreciate all your comments. Definitely helpful! I will look into the Maxtrac's and Rough Country now.

So I checked out their kit and it seems ideal. I just wonder if by not doing the upper control arms, the geometry of the ball joints will be an issue? Any experience with this?

Go with the 295/65/20 or 295/60/20 definitely get a set of flairs

Appreciate it. I was thinking this with flairs:

0" or 2" lift: 295/60/20

4' lift: 35/12.5/20

Now I have to research what is the best 4' lift out there.

I swear we would just be better off with an instant message so we would have less repeat questions. Here ya go

I personally like rough country. I’ve had several of them before and was very pleased. I also recommend using billstien shocks
