Hi, sorry about that, if they don't lock in place, you can contact our service to fix the problem. I think there must be other reasons to bring about this problem because there were so many reviews say they fit perfect.

they fit perfectly!!! My truck is a 2012 and Oedro doesn't make them to lock in place, 2013-present have a different locking tab position... If you read my post I was not complaining I was praising your product

I do not have a fold flat floor but I would thing it would fit. I am going to hunt for some mounts for my Quad Cab. I just lovehis idea for the fishing rods Well another add on coming lol

I don’t see why not. I use my floor for my tackle box and my dog. All the same material.

I looked at doing something like that, but all of my rods are over 6' and their all one-piece. But I definitely like the way you're maximizing space.

Guess you could do the same method of mounting for a gun rack? Maybe to much weight but damn thats cool. Great job!
Edit: Just picked up on that its velcro mounted, maybe no support to bolt to for gun weight.
