So I finally decided to change out my tires. Been running the Goodyear Wrangler HP's since I bought my truck, and haven't been too impressed with them.

After many hours of research and pondering, I decided on the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A Ko2 in my stock size of 275 60 R20.

The truck is still at the shop, but it should be back in the evening. I'll post pictures and inital thoughts as soon as I can.

Love everything about them except for the noise at low speed. IDK if it's the LSD causing this but when I turn a corner at low speed you can definitely hear the "friction" on the pavement.

I've noticed this if I have the window down. I'm used to it now. Overall road noise is not much more discernable than stock which is good.

I had these on my last vehicle, a Nissan Xterra. They were the tire I've ever had in the snow. I just got two quotes, one for this tire and one for Duratracs. A little surprised the Duratracs came in less expensive. I plan to buy new tires before the snow flies this year so now it's just deciding which tire...

These are likely my next set of tires. Only downside from what everyone's written (this thread and elsewhere) is the cost.

Surprisingly, I only paid $1320CAD for this set. My local Ram dealer was having a "Buy 3 get 1 free" sale. Very impressed.

Wow! $1320 CAD ~ $1016 USD.

A steal if it includes mounting, balancing, environmental fees, and TPMS sensors.

Ya, I don't want to say how much I paid for my 285/65/20's, but I do love them so far!

Price on the Duratracs would be $253.95 per tire, so on 4 tires
mounted, balanced, sales tax and new stems they would run $1165.98.
The price on the K/O2 would run $276.95 per tire, so on 4 tires
mounted, balanced, sales tax and new stems they would run $1263.50.

This is the exact quote copy and pasted from my local HubTire. I was quoted for duratracs from a discount tire at $1280.00 OTD.

Size quoted was 275 60 20

Got my KO2's a couple months ago. Way better than the Wrangler's. Good choice!

So I went back for a re torque after 200km (as per the dealers recommendation), and also inflated the tires to 40psi.

A few guys at work are telling me that I should go closer to the tire's maximum pressure. I'm pretty sure that the Ko2's in my size have a max PSI of 65.

Any thoughts or recommendations as to what I should have my tires at? Don't do any towing hardly, and I'm mostly driving on highway roads.

Thanks

Whatever the sticker on the door says is what you should run them at.

Don't listen to this. What load range are they? Also the truly best method to figure out perfect psi is to do a chalk test. If I had to guess 40 will be about right, but every tire is different
