Well today was the scheduled install of my headunit. But bestbuy decided to send my install kit to Arkansas. So now I can’t till later this week.
In the mean time I changed the radio from the Kenwood 675bt to a pioneer 601ex. Modest upgrade. At 299, i couldn’t say no.

To be installed
Pioneer 601ex
Micro bypass ( ebrake bypass )
Alpine ktp u power block ( to push the doors )
Maestro rr
Ch3
Sat 1
Uram
Sat tuner
Isimple hdmi to rca cable ( for phone mirroring Netflix, Hulu etc)
6 ft usb cable to access maestro ( for updates )

Already installed

Kicker mono amp
10 inch kicker
6.5 kicker in all four doors
3.5 kicker tweets in the dash

While it won’t win trophies, I should be plenty satisfied at my age.

Well everything is in. What a sound difference. Clarity and potency are waaaay up.

Sent the usb cable to update maestro and the mirror link cables through the dash to the front cubby

How’s the picture quality with the Isimple rca to hdmi cable? I’m looking for a solution so I can also mirror Netflix like I have done in the past with my other Pioneer headunit in my other cars and since the USB port is occupied by Uram.

lets just say it passable... no 4k... **** not even 720p... maybe more like a 480p

Do you mind taking a picture for me. I know it’s not gonna be 4K lmao but just wanna compare to the picture quality that I get using the usb to hdmi from my Pioneer headunit in my Charger so I know it’s it’s worth trying to figure out a way to get that to work in my Ram.

Ordered a front camera for my pioneer. This will help with parking her in my garage. She barely fits front to back with my freezer and tool sheds. With the bully bar I have to be careful and usually have to get out the truck to check front/rear clearance.
