I got lazy and never kept up with my build thread on my Jeep Cherokee so I figured I would stay on top of this one... I've always wanted to get myself a Ram (dream truck is a '08 cummins) and have been lurking on here for a while.
Finally picked her up last Friday (5.3.14). The plan is to go full blackout with it

The Truck (as i got it 5.3.14):
1996 Ram 1500
5.9L V8 Magnum
Auto, 88,*** original miles
Suspension: **** Cepek dual shock mount, Rancho 9112 shocks (all 6), not sure what brand of spacer or 2.5" block
**** Cepek Upper and lower control arms

33" BFG AT's (1 General Grabber AT2)

Completed:
Flowmaster Super 10, dumped at axle
Pacesetter shorties
Spectre CAI
E3 Spark Plugs
Drilled/Slotted Rotors
50" LED bar (roof mount)
Debadged
Black Grille
Black Bumper
Black wheels
Tow Mirrors
LED pods (fog light position)
Class IV rear hitch receiver
cut off '***** bars'
Tint 2.5%
Realtree interior accents
Painted axles/steering/suspension
Paint - Matte Black
Tinted Tail lights
Scanguage 2
Stereo/Speakers
Black Headlights

To Be Completed (in no order):
8" LED bars (next to pods in bumper)
Satoshi style grille
X-pipe
Dual flowmaster 10 series dumped
Bedliner
52mm throttle body
Traction Bars
King 2.5 coilovers
Carli 3" Full leaf pack
King 2.5 shocks
35-37" Toyo Open Country m/t
17-18" wheels
4.56 Yukon ring and pinion in rear
M1 intake
Tuner (brand unknown for now)

...I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but all input/advice/criticism is welcome!

The day I got her:

First things first... The next day I got the grille guard, lower valence, fender flares, molding, badges, and tool box off.. Box might be painted and go back on

Good work so far. You going with a gloss or satin black?

A word if warning on the bumper though: paint doesn't like to stick to chrome so I hope you sanded the hell out of it.

It's gonna look great when you're done.

Good thing. It's gonna look great.

May I advise that you keep the wheels and polish them? I think the little bit of chrome that the wheels add will make it look great.

yea im keeping these for the time being, i wont be getting into the suspension or wheels/tires for a while so for now i was just going to paint these black.. and plus the tires have a tone of tread left so i might just run them dead
