Bully Dog on an Express

I've been away from the forum for awhile but I just read about the Bully Dog tuner for the hemi's. Last I knew no one made one for the '10-'13 hemi's. Anyway I have a 2012 Express and it doesn't have the evic and I wondered if the Bully Dog showed MPG and tranny temp for my truck or is that not possible for my "bare bones" truck? I am just curious to see my mpg without calculating it at every fill up. Also I pull my 8500lb camper and would like to see my tranny temp so I know before I burn it up someday.

mine has the evic so i dunno if its the same as urs, but it does show tranny temp for sure. I am not 100% sure, but i think it shows mpg as well. No one has answered u yet so i thought i may be able to help. hope im not wrong........lol

Well I emailed Bully Dog today so maybe I'll get some kind of answer tomorrow.

It will display all the gauges even if you dont have the EVIC system. The only thing I am not 100% sure on is the MPG reading. It will display all other gauges though.

Hemi, is there different settings for this programmer? I really don't need the power, the ol' girls got some ponnies, I'd just like the extra gauges and maybe some mpg help.

there is a regular and performance setting. If you plan to stick with 87 or 89 octane fuel, then you want to run the regular setting. Even on regular, you will feel an increase in performance and mileage.

Hemi, does the GT come with some kind of mount or do I have to buy the a post mount? I never heard back from Bully Dog, I may try to call them tomorrow, I want to make double sure I can at least get tranny temp before I order one.

It comes with a suction cup mount that is basically a piece of flex tubing with a big suction cup on the end. And the tuner will display all the same gauges on your truck as one with the evic unit.

We have a few customers already that bought this tuner strictly for the gauges because they didnt have the EVIC system on their trucks. You are good to go.

I couldnt find MPGs on mine, so I don't think it does mileage, but it does everything you could possibly want for sure. If you get one, buy the Bully Dog pillar mount etc. A little high for a piece of plastic, but waaaayyyy worth it. And ole Matt will get it to you in about an hour or less..........maybe a little longer, but not much.
