Hi everyone,
I’ve got a 01’ 2500, and I’m installing a public address system from HornBlasters. Does anyone know of a good place to mount it besides infront of the intercooler? It’s not supposed to get wet either. Anyways, I’m wondering where I can run a wiring harness into the cab for the controller, let me know, thanks!

I am not sure about older series Rams

Grab a flashlight & look inside the cab
Look where the steering column passes through the firewall
there is likely a rubber seal surrounding the steering column.

Now look under the hood, look again at the steering column
about an inch or two directly below the column
look for a nipple or dimple in the rubber gasket.

Check the interior to make sure, you will not be cutting anything important.

If there is nipple, you can use a set of cutting pliers & cut just enough off to pass your wire through.

If there is no nipple, find a good place to cut an X, using something like a pen knife or X-Acto knife, again just large enough for your wire(s)

After the wiring is in place, you can seal the opening up with silicone
