Can I install struts/shocks 2” taller in my 4” lift to eliminate the rake?

100% I know the rear Procomp spacer is 4.5” on a 6” lift.

Procomp uses pre load spacers as well and I don’t see one at the top.

Yea. I was trying to remember but I think it’s a 3.5” on the 4” kits. That’s why I was trying to see if it was a quick lift strut or had a preload spacer. It was hard to tell on my end. But I ageee. Any adjustable strut or coil over set will bring it back up.

So how does my kit raises the ram 6” if the strut spacers are only 4.5”?

And if I have a 6” lift do I need to buy an 8” strut/shock to raise it those 1 to 2 inches?

Sorry for my incompetence I dont know much about lifts as you can see, I have never installed one nor researched 100% how everything works and affects in conjuction.

4.5” accounts for the actual frame drop. Then your kit is supposed to have a preload spacer to add the remaining height but your preload is missing so you only have the 4.5”. You would be fine adding a stock replacement adjustable strut like the 5100 or coilover like icon, fox, or kings and keeping the strut spacer. You’re not actually lifted the full 6” even though your kit is a 6” kit because the preload spacer is missing. Depending on the ride quality you want could get a 6” lift strut instead of a stock replacement. That’ll get you your actual 6”. The full length coilovers don’t do much over stock replacement coilovers except lighten your wallet a bit extra. Not really getting extra travel or any better ride for the added cost.

This is a set I found and I think they are not bad for the price.
Will these work for what I want to do? Install these and remove the 4.5” strut spacer and my front end should raise 1.5” without ******* anything up since I do have a 6” lift correct?
Ecxept maybe just align it again.

If you plan to keep your truck don't put that junk on it. I think you'll be surprised what @Nick@GotExhaust can put together for you

I send him a message already. Does he has like a website I can search and buy from him or how does he work?
We have way more than what is listed on our site. Plus I can offer you forum discounts depending on what you are ordering so it is always best to check in with me 1st to see what we can offer.

You don’t want a fixed position strut that will put you right back where you are now. You will need upper control arms as well

Yeah dudes luck to be alive. That’s a serious piece of metal to break. Imagine what their thinner stuff does. I’ve seen it first hand more than I’d like

In my opinion a 1" rake is about perfect. If you do install something on the front end, be sure to check upper control arm geometry.

Can I determine the size of the lift by the size of the strut spacer or no?
I drive a 2014 ram 1500 4x4 hemi
I beleive I have a Pro comp 4” lift installed on my truck and I hate the 1 inch rake it has in the front, I want to level it out and alittle bit more if possible.
It has oem size struts/shocks with a 4” strut spacer.
Would a 6” lifted strut raise my truck at all and will it be reliable safe to drive?
I have the same problem, but I have a Mopar 4in lift instead. I’ve heard the mopar lifts are made by superlifts. Did you end up fixing your rake by chance?

Does your truck have bilsteins up front? Yes you can put leveling struts on your truck and set them up higher to level

No it has the factory oem struts, and a 4in strut spacer on top of it. I was also looking into getting 6in lifted struts in replacement of the strut spacers, or is there a lot more to it?

The 6” lifted struts may be to long at full droop if you only have a 4” lift. I’m not sure. Leveling struts or coilovers will still give you the benefit of a better ride and can be set for more lift while still keeping stock suspension characteristics. @Quick_Shifter

If I install leveling struts which are 2.5in wouldn’t that be equal to 6.5in total? 4in spacer plus 2.5in leveling strut.

The lift strut is still stock length though at full extension by design so even though you sit higher it does not allow for any more wheel down travel over stock. A 6” lift strut is technically 6” longer than stock at full extension which would be 2” longer than your lift kit.

You’ll be nose high by 3” if you try to do that. @Nick@GotExhaust can get you set up with the proper parts you’re looking for.
If you want to go to a 6” Nick can set you up with a rear box kit to lift the rear, swaybar endlinks for the front and extended brake lines to accomplish your idea. Best customer service on the internet and we got exclusive access to him
