Going look real nice with those tires! What exhaust did you go with? Can you take a picture of your wade mats inside? Would like to see how well they sit.

Thanks bud. Im going with MBRP, and I went out and took a few for you. The drivers side fits amazing, the passenger side good, and the back is wonky. But from what I understand all of them are like that.

Sweet. It's going to look great!

Thanks bud, your truck is one of the ones that helped me spend money MUCH easier.

I don't even know when I'll be able to install them, but I'm SUPER excited for my shocks/exhaust to be delivered today.

However I think I may have overlooked a slight problem. I'm not sure the 35's will fit.

My truck has a very heavy Leer topper on it. And it has for years. And I'm a bit worried that the rear may be sagging more then the 35's will allow. I also, very regularly, have ~400lbs of dogs in the bed. Anyone have any experience with this?

If that's the case I think I need to order Bilsteins for the rear and airbags.

I think I'm going to make a new thread for this issue.

So I put the exhaust on last night

I found out I didn't have any of the rubber hangers

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423322707.406403.jpg

But I got it installed

Aaaaaaaand... I absolutely hate it. It's SO quiet. My wife loves it, and it drives a million times better, but I'm just used to the dump pipe. I'll probably put an electric cut out later on.

So a few small updates. The MBRP is starting to break in and sound better, but I managed to burn myself a few weeks back.

It's healing pretty well, but I'm not comfortable installing the Bilsteins when I'll be focusing more on not hitting my arm then on the install.

So I booked an appointment to have Tampa Off Road install them this weekend.

Man burn looks brutal! But good to here it's healing up well. Get some pics after Bilsteins are added!

Yeah apparently my liquid Boy Scout skills are lacking.

And I will! I'll give it a few days after the install (time for the suspension to settle), but I'll probably get impatient and have the alignment done pretty quickly after the install, and that's when I'll slap on the wheels/tires.

But I'll take pics of each stage [emoji4]

Damn, Looks good so far. Is it a 2wd or 4wd? Those 35's should fit no problem once you have the level. I want that exhaust.

4wd! I'm pretty excited about getting them mounted, and the exhaust is starting to sound like a truck again.

I've also been thinking about the grille, I think I'm going to have the OEM one paint matched. I REALLY like the look of this one;

I think I'm going to wait and see if I need fender flares; if I need them I'll get everything painted at once.

So after work I head over to Tampa Off Road to a bit of a surprise

That definitely doesn't look done... apparently they had some serious issues getting the front apart (this was a northern truck) due to the rust. My wife said we will pick it up tomorrow after work, but the owner knows how anxious I am to get it back and said he would keep me updated on it.

And wouldn't you know it as soon as we turn on our street (~25 miles away) I get a call that my truck is done and ready to pick up >_> Luckily he knows we live far and said he would be staying late to finish up some paperwork. He parked the truck up front and had it ready to go when we arrived.

(I'll get better pictures tomorrow)

Here you can see a bit of a difference if you look at the wheel gap in the front.

Before;

After;
