You and me both! I really want to give it a few days to settle before the alignment, but I'm not sure how long I need to wait.

I drive ~60 miles a day round trip to/from work. And the road into my neighborhood is... Well, crap. So it has plenty of modulation to settle.

I'll probably call today and see when they can get me in. I'm going to have Goodyear do it. They have a 3 year alignment deal for ~$160 where they'll align it every 6K miles for no extra charge.

So I figure if I have them do a rotate and balance these tires should last a while.

EDIT; I'm actually looking around. It seems Firestone has a lifetime alignment.

I'll let you spend the money so I can see what it looks like since we have the same truck. You should do fender flares next :p

Lol, someone has too! And I could send you some pics that would make you want to take a loan out!

This is the truck that did it for me;

And I'm already thinking about fender flares when the wife gives me my wallet back! I'm eyeballing the ATS fender flares currently.

I'm doing audio upgrades right now. My favorite mod was my seat covers from Clazzio. I want a cap like yours but I have viny tri-fold cover right now. I already have 18s American Racing with 35s. I haven't installed my leveling kit yet.

We were actually looking at seat covers since we have a ton of dogs (same reason for the topper), and I've been told (by the wife) that I'm not allowed to fiddle with the stereo...

I have a LOOOOOONG history of going a bit overboard on audio builds.

So I have an appointment tomorrow at Firestone. $199.99 for lifetime alignment/rotate/balance [emoji15]

So... They just called me. Everything is installed and looks great! Unfortunately I haven't seen it yet.

They told me there is rubbing, but the guy I spoke too didn't drive it, so he doesn't know how much or where. What he did know is that all the ball joints, and the lower tie rods have a ton of play.

So now I need to look into that. I may look into just replacing the entire control arms since the prices he gave me for parts alone were pretty insane, and I vaguely remember people replacing the control arms for fairly cheap on here.

I'm off to search!

Hmm... I think when I get home I'll jack the front end up and see if it's actually got any play, or if the tech made an assumption based on the front end wobble while braking (the rotors need to be turned, they have grooves).

It is what it is, I just drove it and I'm very happy. It definitely needs ball joints, but I'll do those slowly. Probably the lower ball joints, then the upper arms/ball joints, then while I'm in there crank the Bilsteins to 2.8" (since I'll have the UCAs for it), and talk the wife into a 1" spacer for the rear.
