Center console lid disassembly?

Wondering how to take this apart because the handle broke. Is it simply just pulling it apart with push pins holding the under piece on?

Following... I'm been having issues with mine lately. It seems to have some sort of angle sensitive mechanism in the latch that prevents it from being open if folded back but it hangs when closing and I'm afraid it's going to break the handle as well. The latch doesn't release every time when closing.
