Hi, I have a 2007 Ram mega with the center seat. I was able to find a center console online relatively cheap. My concern is the ac vents, I have ac vents in the rear in the bottom. Does this console work with them? Any of you guys have pictures of the setup I can’t seem to find any online except of just regular interior pictures.

Funny I'm considering doing the swap on my 06 mega. I've done this swap on a 17 mega cab and it was easy. The vents worked with little modification. I've driven 2 trucks at work with centers recently 08 and a 06 and didn't think to check vents. I'd assume there's vents in the center. May need the duct work from the center console too attach at bottom of dash

I posted the picture above of one with them. They seem to go in the center. Some modification definitely looks like will happen. The ducting not so sure about. Shouldn’t be too hard just have a busy schedule, wanted to jump into it with a little more knowledge from others who have done it.

Horrible quality but you get the point lol. I may have to cut console and place the vents in there. Probably stationary.

I'll speak from the 4th gen. We had to remove seats and cut off the brackets that are welded to the seats that holds the center seat. We also had to cut the duct since the center console one was larger than the under seat duct. We also had to use self tapping screws to hold the bracket to the floor that the center bolts to. I recall the console to dash being an issue but the 3rd gen there's no problem there. Just need the panel in the dash. It's the same shape as the existing panel. 4Th gen you have to modify the lower dash to make the center go under the dash

Well got it done. Had to retrofit my own ac vents from the other console. This Florida rain and humidity is killer so it still needs work. But it’s working well for now.

Gonna be doing a bit more trimming and then use some epoxy resin to fill in corners or something in that nature. I didn’t get another picture but I did clean up the cuts and screwed the inner sides in so it fits nice and snug.
