Changes for 2015 model?

UConnect was improved quite a bit for 2014 over the 2013 model, but for 2015 you get 5 years of free XM/Uconnect apps...

I think your mistaken.
My 2014 Laramie, the heated seat and steering wheel comes on automatically via push button start, or remote start, as you described with the '15.

To clarify: Yes, it can come on in push button start or remote start in the 2014. But mine has an option where I can have the heaters come on at "remote start" only.

The 2015 is the pic below. The 2014 (my father's) only had "off" and "all starts" as an option. Mine has this 3rd option.

Like I said, really minor. Just something I noticed. I use the remote start only because if I want them on then I can push them on myself when I start the truck from within. I'm weird like that.

Question on updates. Do you bring it to the dealer every couple years for an update? Or are you notified about something specific? Does it cost anything?

Just curious, I've never had a vehicle that needed an update.

I've updated mine once via the uconnect site. Free. Took longer to download the file than the instal. Easy peasy.

Well one big difference is they offer about 45 different colors on the 2015.
