Cheap intake upgrade on my Limited

I’m waiting patiently till the mopar Ram intake is available but I found a cheap performance filter that really works and I noticed a few benefits from. I’ve had a few K&n filters, TRD, and other aftermarket CAI’s and this “cheap” one seems just as good in materials and build quality. It was a quick 5min process and I could feel the difference immediately. One main thing I noticed that my the rpms on the truck at idle and normal putting around dropped, and also the eco light came on more often. I also could feel less resistance in the pedal and some increased pickup when I put my foot Down. For the price you cannot go wrong until a better system is available.

Are you kidding? I have the AEM dry filter. Felt no difference.

I turned the air filter lid upside down on my old man's '70 Plymouth Fury. Got 40 more hp out of it.

If you want to help air flow even more remove the silencer pad in the air box lib too.

I have heard pure unfiltered air provides the best HP. Just remove it all.

changing out the air filter to a K-N is one of the first things I usually do when I buy a new vehicle even my motorcycle. might flow a little more air but for sure wont have to buy any new ones over the course of owning the vehicle. nice to know there is a less expensive version to be had. most likely the computer will adjust to however much air is flowing and the engine will run the same no matter what air filter is used

Probably will run better if you replace the air box with a red portable gas tank with 100 octane. Dual fuel injection
