So my factory intake manifold is leaking oil at the seem by the pcv (63,000 miles).
A new OE 5.7 manifold is not cheap when compared to doing the 6.4 swap.
Looking into the 6.4 swap I will need the following:
Would do the MMX kit with harness - I think I need to source and EGR plate now though (they no longer include them?)
New air intake - does the 6.4 S&B fit our truck? (I.E trade in the 5.7 on the 6.4 with S&B under the upgrade option)
Catch can no longer works (I am not drilling/tapping 6.4 set up) - I am ok with this
Tight clearance with AC lines and TB - slight bends and should be fine.
5.7 Engine cover no longer fits - just cosmetics
Need revised tune for 6.4 injectors - I think JG changes $100, not an issue.
Am I missing anything?
