My check engine light is on but when I put the computer on, it doesn't pick up any codes. What could this mean? Also sometimes when I lightly lush on the gas it feels like it isn't getting gas and revs up.. any idea why this is happening?

Try resetting the PCM and see if it comes back, it might come back with a code.

What do you mean? In gear or neutral?

Sounds like your transmission might be slipping a bit.

And as far as the CEL with no code, the only thing I would suggest is try and more capable scantool.

I had a diagnostic done to the trans already and it was fine. And my buddy (who's a diesel mechanic) has a top of the line CEL. Im lost of what could be and he has yet to take it on a road test.

Might need a data logger? I dunno man.

I've heard that sometimes a CEL without a code can mean the PCM is going out.
