Check Engine light

My check engine came on a couple days ago, and this morning it was suddenly no longer on. I didn't do anything to it yet. I was just wondering if that's normal?
I know it didn't burn out or anything cuz it still lights up with everything else when I turn the key.

If the problem that caused the light to come on is not a consistent problem, the light will clear itself in 3~5 drive cycles (fully warmed up and then allowed to fully cool down is one cycle). If the problem is persistent, the light will remain on.

You can still pull what the code was with a scanner if you are concerned. A lot of auto places will do it for free just call around.
