Love the look of the new chrome clad wheels but my early positivity of longevity is dwindling. Parked next to a curb that was freshly cut. The grass that is. I scrubbed and cleaned the grass clippings splattered across one side. My question. How to keep the chrome (plastic) from scratching and how to clean? Any product that keeps them looking new?

These were on a customers truck, And even after scrubbing and pressure washing, the chrome came clean, it just didn’t look chrome. A little mag wheel cleaner and they shined like new. 87B588E4-FFB5-4EAF-85BF-BD8853150BDC.jpeg55F7D97E-F57E-4113-A3F8-F0FA62980334.jpeg0EEF9B27-6245-49EF-B804-617357D48BB5.jpeg26A95C77-DAF5-4D6C-B7B5-CC9E0678FB96.jpeg

As far as a polish goes. Medallion chrome and metal polish. I have hand polished a 33 Rolls Royce, a 29 Caddy, and a 49 Ferrari. By far the best results I have ever gotten with any product out there.

I've always had good luck cleaning them with Simple Green and then soapy water and then rinse. If you use anything that is abrasive it will scratch the surface. I usually polish them with Graphene Spray Detailer. I do this every time I wash the truck so you don't have to fight a wheel that is filthy from being neglected. Extra info----I always use Simple Green on the wheel well liners along with soap and water and a soft brush and then use Meguire's #40 for a final wipe-down.

Simple green for wheels really? Going to try that. Thanks for the advice. Less abrasive the better.
