You want it about the consistency of milk, not any thicker. In the summer, place it in the sun for bit then shake the p*ss out of it. If any has gummed/chalked up under the lid or the neck, just push it back in the bottle and shake some more.

I have used this wax for years on my cars, trucks and boats and will never go back to using anything else. I find it lasts 5-6 months easily so twice a year is my routine.

It's about the best cheap wax you can get... If you can't warm it up, you can SHAKE it a lot to get it to the right consistency. In the summer, I just set it in the sun for a bit and it's good to go. This time of year, I put it in front of a little electric heater for a bit and then still shake the crap out of it. Like others have said many times, THIN, THIN, THIN. If you put it on thick, it's like removing concrete. I prefer applying it with the little foam applicators.
