Hey guys what's up? I just bought an 03 1500 hemi ram. Somebody told me that you have to use dodge specific coolant in the engine. I don't believe that at all but figured I'd throw it out there. Sorry for the dumb question lol.

Welcome to RF! And as far as I know, just use a 50/50 diluted product. Get it at Wal-mart if you can since it will be cheaper.

Use the specified G-05 coolant! It is that way for a reason. Aluminum engine parts don't like high borate coolant it WILL cause cavitation. Silicate coolant only.
Don't ever use all makes all models coolant in anything. G-05 is clearish yellow in appearance that is what you need

Yep, Zerex g05 is what I'm running. Pep boys and Napa carry it.
