Hey guys, got a trinity t2 for my 2016 ram 1500. Tuner is great and installed 87 octane tune. The only issue I’m having is the fans run constantly once it hits 200 degrees. This never happened before and just curious if anyone had this issue. Can I adjust it higher so they don’t come on all the time or is this something I have to live with? I have a fan clutch so I wished the electric fan didn’t run as much as it is right now.

Yes, you can adjust cooling fan On/Off operation based on temperatures. I'd contact Diablosport to get the info on how that is done.

HP Tuners is the only tuner that lets the end-users make adjustments.

Diablo requires a custom tune, Witch shouldn't really be an issues as the canned tunes dont actually do much.

I'm not familiar with the newer Diablo tuners, but the old T1000 used to let you adjust high speed / low speed / A/C on/off fan temps etc. If you get no help here,it might be worth a phone call to Diablo

Yeah it only has one adjustment target fan temp on (cold) I adjusted it to 220 and reinstalled the tune. We shall see if that helps. I’m thinking they adjust the fans in the tune and without a new thermostat the fan is gonna keep running. The truck is fine till about 195 then the fan kicks on. Before the tune the temp was around 210-215
