Sorry I thought that link would go to the one we bought. Here she is.
At this time of the year the 2016s are out and you should be able to get at least 25% off of a new 2015. We have a 2014 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 2101DS and love it. We pull it with our 2014 RAM 1500 V6, 8 speed, and 3.21. Pulls just fine. Best of luck.Alright sounds good. Now I have bought trucks before and love haggling and getting the best deal I can. If a dealer has a unit that is already discounted by say $2k, how much can I realistically expect to haggle down to? Obviously it's subjective but like our trucks $8-10k off is sort of standard us there one for the RV industry?
congrats on the jayco. we just bought a 2013 32 TSBH and after looking at a bunch of trailers, my wife fell in love with the jayco at first sight. Now we have three camping trips booked in the next four months.
you pull it with the 1500?
I agree. mine loved 4th even when 5th would have been easily held on flat highway. I wished a lot that i would be able to force it back into 5th. I'd have to disable cruise and let it down shift then creeeeeeep back up to 65 to get it back to 5th. then id have to slow down or adjust and it would down**** againYea before the headwind the evic was between 9-12 so I'm thinking about 8-9 actual mpg I'm going to using the +/- gear select next tow to hopefully do better than the tow haul mode. I was pretty disappointed in the way the transmission was shifting and attempting to keep me in the powerband on some small gradual climbs
I get 11-12 mpg with this set up. 8-9 mpg in a strong head wind or cross wind. so I don't think you're doing too terrible, I figure you'd be at 8 or 9 with no wind or the wind pushing behind you
