The other day it started to rain very suddenly and almost all of the cars on the highway decided to go from 65 MPH to 10 MPH in a matter of seconds.
With that, I had to apply my brakes rather abruptly and felt the ABS actuate and slow the vehicle down in a controlled manner - like it's supposed to do.
Immediately upon applying the brakes, the dash brake light came on and has stayed on after several start/stops of the engine. I checked the brake fluid and it's right where it needs to be. It doesn't stay on when the car is off.
What else could it be? What else should I check?
Thanks for your help on this!
