How much DEF does it take to refill my DEF tank when the message first appears on my 2018?

I'd guess close to 5 gallons. At 1/2 tank, it takes one of those 2.5 gallon jugs to get mine back to full.

I let mine get down to the red mark on the gauge then add a 2.5 gallon jug. That brings it to just above the 3/4 mark.

tank is 5.5gal total, I usually do the add @ 1/2, about every 6 months I take it to the light
