Delaminating 8.4" Display U-Connect 4

2019 Big Horn North Edition display was delaminating. Contacted FCA Customer care and was pleasantly surprised at the assistance I got. Even though it was clearly out of warranty they got my info, contaced the dealer, and coordinated replacement. The only thing I did was set the appointment to take the truck into the dealer. I did have to pay labor for the exchange. A couple bucks for not having to deal with everything else and the cost of the display, well worth it. Didn't think it would go that smoothly but worth the try!

Hmmm, a 2019 8.4 delaminating. I thought that was only a 2018 radio problem. I wonder if they had an overage of 2018 radios and put them in the 2019 trucks.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read this, It must have been a left over 2018 radio in his truck

Good on ya for getting it dealt with, with the Dealership!
I had enough of the common UConnect issues and just installed a nice aftermarket Kenwood head unit and was done with issues moving forward!
