I'm waiting for the Belltech 963sp kit to be delivered so I can trim the coils to achieve a 3/5 drop. I know unbroken and Tylerb have 3/5's, but I can't find the info on how many coils to cut. Would the heavier Crew Can require less coils to cut then the rcsb's?

When you get the kit count the coils for me, I believe mine has a modified 2/4 beltech.... if its different # of coils then I will know mines not original kit and you can get a idea on how much to cut.

The only other way is trim a little at a time reinstall it set it on the ground and see if you want lower.... that way you can dial it in exact to your desired height... its a lot of work but the outcome is worth it

I've gone through the process when I cut my oem coils. Can you give me the measurements from the ground to the center of the wheel well?

Totally forgot to count the coils. Drop was installed yesterday, but they want the suspension to settle a lil before cutting.

Search TylerBs posts. I'm pretty sure he said one is 1/2 coil and one is a full coil but i cant remember which is which is which. Pretty sure you need lower bump stops for front and then put ur front beltech stop in rear.

From what I read on here you cut a 1/2 coil off the front for 1" and a full coil off the back for 1".

Keep in mind different brands have different spring rates so what worked for one brand of kit may not be the same for another brand.

I would think vehicle weight would play a role in it too so a crew cab probably needs less cut off than a reg cab. Just remember you can always cut a lil more if you need to but if you cut too much off to start you are F'd.

Looks great man! Wait a couple weeks before you cut them, let it settle. It will go down a little more...

That's the plan. The shop has me scheduled to come back in a couple weeks

Im reading them now, and already ordered and installed the shorter bumpstops.

My truck is pretty damn low and all I did was trim the passenger front spring almost half to match the driver front "driver front uncut" cut the passenger rear a coil and a half and the driver rear a half a coil.uploadfromtaptalk1442148255948.jpg

I also had to remove the cups off the back and now I'm hitting the control arms in the back over certain bumps. Let your suspension settle for sure.
