Good it is an easy fix. Have you thought about checking aftermarket and replacing both front shocks?

What does your random vibration feel like? Does the steering wheel visibly shake or do you just "feel" it, like in the gas pedal, floorpan, steering wheel, etc?
I don't feel it in the steering wheel like I do when front tire is out of balance. I feel the whole truck vibrate like I'm driving on rumble strips. It can happen on take-off or randomly at any other point during driving. Sometimes on highway it will drive perfect for a few miles and then shake like a wheel lost all the weights for a few miles and back to normal again. Sometimes I even feel a vibration in the brake pedal when lightly braking at low speeds.
