I have a 2022, recently installed a reserve tank with a gravity fed auxiliary line. When I leave the valve open, once filled the diesel starts to over flow from an over fill line located next to the main tank fill point. Can I cap it off? Not sure if this just happens to 2022 models.

I put an adapter down low just above the tank. The adapter I made has 2 fuel line fittings. 1 is coming from the aux tank pump and the other is a return to the aux tank. This way once full the head pressure is enough to push the fuel up the return to the tank. Never overflowed or vented out.
I personally do like any gravity feed system.

Gotcha. I should’ve done much more research on this

Yes. I get the point. Thanks. When I eventually get rid of the auxiliary line this looks like the way to do it
