Funny you ask, dR is something that came about with my Ram as I did custom parts... It was/is short for DavidRam, lol! I am a designer though, I design high end furniture and do interiors as well. However, two weeks ago I quit my job with the company I was running and doing design work out of. I am sick and tired of the furniture/design business - it's the ******* gayest job ever, lol!

So now I do some free lance design work and I also do the luxury car brokering.

It would be a dream for me to go in to business designing automotive cosmetic parts!!!

I figured the DR was for DavidRam. I'm a designer as well, but more on the mechanical side. 3D design using SolidWorks.

Wow, very cool choice of a career for you!!! Kinda wish I had spent the last 20 years designing something other than furniture, lol! Cuz at the ripe old age of 40, I am looking for a career change!

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you design?

I just couldn't help myself...

I like the aluminum strip in the panel so much, I decided I needed just one more little piece of brushed aluminum on the doors...

So I came up with this (by the way I have aftermarket power widows that I installed, that's why the switches look weird):

It is a lot of fun. My last 2 companies were in the oil & gas industry. Now I am in aerospace doing flight simulators. Kind of living my "Top Gun" fantasies to an extent.

Yea, I have to admit, it's pretty neat. All of our stuff is classified, for obvious reasons, but 99% of our projects are military. I get to see some pretty neat stuff. The downside is, I can't talk about it.
