Do you still have all of the shutters installed? If you remove the 2 rows below the top row, it actually helps quite a bit with no down sides that I have run into.

So far still have them ! I plan on removing a few soon as the Black flies die down :O They are nasty little suckers !
So just 2 row on top ?
I am thinking 1 top 1 middle 1 bottom !
I know the Pentastar runs hot but will start w/ 2 removed then 3 ,, The bugs should die down over the next few weeks

Top and bottom have to stay as they have the linkage, remove the 2 or 3 rows below it - reason for those rows is that the trans cooler (at least on the hemi) sits behind those rows.
On my hemi, the bottom of the rad is uncovered below the shutters.
