Nope. I don't even know where the machine shops are. lolDid you get the screw out yet?
Take it to a machine shop, spend the $40 and have them remove it.
They should be able to get it done speedy quick.
GAH!! WTF! I reused the ones on mine just fine. *sigh* Alrighty then. Guess that changes things a tad.The screws that hold the butterfly in place are not meant to be removed and reused. In some cases they are peened over on one end so they can't back out. Don't try and back it out run it through the hole. Use a small bit and drill it out and hope it comes out, then go find new screws.

Yeah did you get it out? I was able to get 3 of them to come out without issue, then wham! Lol.... Guess I'll be trying the small bit myself...

Its not weird at all, as I said the screws are not meant to be messed with. This is very common on all carbs, tb's not just trucks and cars.
Well...the more you know I guess...Its called a carb cleaning tank, you soak the whole thing, using a can of spray CARB cleaner is a waste of time and cash. Brake cleaner should not be used on carbs/tb's.
Damn. Well, I'll let you proceed for now to see what becomes of it. I was likely going to get a screw extractor kit to see if that would do it.Yeah I knew they could be an issue and knew they were usually pressed at the end to keep them from backing out, I guess... Hoped they wouldn't give me trouble though... I've tried drilling it some, but they are pretty hard and my bits aren't making much progress... May try to machine shop route so I don't mess anything up
