Getting ready to install some switchback turn signals, but dont want to use load resistors.I know they make a flasher built for the LED lights. I just cant find the flasher in my truck i can hear it,but cant figure out where it is inside. I hear it up under the dash by the gauge cluster, but dont see it. Any suggestion as to where it is?

I've just got the resistors. They just tap into the stock wires right at the plug. Hopefully someone will chine in.

Droid Incredible 2 on the move!!!

Using resistors will be so much easier. You can even use quick splices to tap into the factory ground and signal wires so you don't have to do any cutting.

There is no flasher. It's handled by the TIPM and the noise is just a simulated flasher. Your only option is resistors. Not sure you need them though on the front flashers. I have replaced my front with switchbacks and the rears with leds as well. I only had to use the resistors on the rears to stop the bulb out warning and hyper flash. Not sure if this will make a difference with only the front. (Also, this only applies when the truck is running. If the truck is not running, then the warning and hyperflash will work for the front signals.)

I didn't need resistors on mine either.

Are you turning on the turn signals before starting the truck?

Ordering Resistors for them. My friend suggested i leave them alone just to bother people. They are rather eye catching blinking fast. LOL :roflsquared:
Its just after i turn on the truck and have to make a turn that i use them. Safety mined after about 10 sec boom hyper flash and error message and it resets after i turn off truck. Then the whole thing starts over again.

strange. maybe it's because I have the 3ohm resistors on the rear lights that it is just enough to not trip the warning and hyper flash.

Added resistors and problem solved.
Just and FYI you connect to the black wire and the white wire. On this 3 wire setup you connect to both outside wires to get it to work.

Got mine from V-Leds.com

me too. :naughty:

Switchbacks I don't "stock" guys - but I know the best when I see 'em - v-leds.com. I had a set of AAC ones in my truck........they didn't work for ****.
