Does it idle smooth? normally when cam 100% goes it will misfire at idle also any loud knocking or tapping. As for the pining mine does it under load I have 209k on it run some seafoam in your tank sounds like you might have a lot of carbon mine after running a tank or 2 of seafoam and 1 down the intake mine stopped for now.[/QUOTE
My wife’s 2011 GJC 5.7 138k miles, went from running fine to running like it was running on 4 cylinders over night. Total Bill 5200.00! Out of pocket.... 100.00 thank god for the max care lifetime warranty. They replaced all the lifters, push rods, timing chain and gear, cam, and oil pump. Then gave me a free oil change after 300 miles to make sure everything was cleaned out.
