Front camera recommendation?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a front camera? 2012 2500. Also any uconnect upgrade suggestions, ie larger display? Thanks

You mean like a dash cam? If so I have a thinkware u1000 with backup batteries. Look at blackboxmycar.com they have a lot of options

I have that one as well with the rear camera, but hardwired so I get footage while the truck is off (battery back up serves same purpose). Actually saved me with my Durango as I got video of a repair tech stealing my radar detector...

Do you have your second camera facing the inside? I also have dual channel i have facing the rear.

No - it will be out the back window. I had it in my Durango, but haven't put the rear in my truck yet (I'm getting tinting soon and I would just need to take it off).

If you you are looking for a third party camera system, check out Foo Koo on Amazon. I have a 4 camera system, one of which is a "backup camera" in the grille facing forward. Easy install. Records. Works great. They sell a single camera system. Other systems may also work well, but this vendor has outstanding customer service.

front and rear cameras should be standard equipment on all cars and trucks. Tesla has the right idea.

I put a RedTiger camera in mine (front and rear) 4k/1080p. for insurance purposes, everyone should get a dash cam

I've just upgraded to a Thinkware U3000 front and rear set up...
Absolutely love it!
And yes, it should be standard on all vehicles.
