My gas gauge isnt working. I know if I ground the wire out it should make the gauge move but I don't know which wire I need to ground out in the harness to test it.

you would have to ground both of the wires at the sending unit. you don't need to ground both of them but it is easier to just do that

if you can reach them you could just trying to give the connectors a twist. the way they are connected is kind of a bad design and can easily allow corrosion or rust to build up and prevent things from working

I wasnt really able to get my hand back in there, I am going to be pulling my bed off soon to replace it with a rust free bed so I will fix it then.

Its my sending unit the arm is very stiff and doesnt want to rotate up and down correctly. I know they don't make a direct fit but does anyone have an idea what I can get to make my gauge work?

Do you know if you have a 20 or 30 gallon tank? if you know which 1 you have i might be able to get you the part number for a new sending unit. they are about $100

4075473 should find you a sending unit for a 20 gallon tank at the dealer or on the mopar parts website
