David, just tried it again and it worked for me. IDK.....

Worked for me. I could see that working on the rails with the schrader valve as long as it's an actual schrader valve and not a specialty fitting.

no problem, I have it on my 13 and it does its job, never had a leak and it took less than 10 mins to install

That's what I used on my '07, worked really well. I was going to recommend it myself but I was in the middle of running out to a rescue training session when I posted the first time.
