My husband owns a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500. Is is currently in the process of changing the fuel pump. I have 2 questions. The new fuel pump has an extra piece. It looks like a hose should go on there. The old pump does not have this. We thought perhaps we got the wrong pump. When we looked online it appears that this piece is often capped off. Has anyone else run into this problem? The second question is that the nozzle on the rollover valve was broken off when he removed the tank. Does it have a hose/line that runs off of it? Does it go somewhere if it does. If it doesn't can he reuse the old one with the broken nozzle? Thank you!
